“Turtle Love” Art Prints Available

Hello, everyone! The Mystiq Arts Etsy shop has been updated with a set of 25 prints of my Turtle Love gouache painting. Being limited edition, they’re up for grabs!

I’m really satisfied with the finish of the prints. I must say, they turned out great.

I’ll see you in the next post. Cheers!

“Turtle Love” Video

Now you can watch my entire 24-hour process of creating the Turtle Love gouache painting on Youtube! I learned a lot while painting this. Above all, I think I generally need to apply thicker layers than I do most of the time. It’ll be interesting to see how my next painting will turn out in comparison to this one. That being said, I am quite happy with how this piece turned out.

I hope you like the painting, as well as watching this video. Thank you so much in advance!

I’ll see you in the next post. Cheers!

Portfolio Update

During May, I’ve been working on two rather big projects. One of them is a gouache painting on watercolour paper, featuring two sea turtles; the other is a pencil drawing of a honeybee. Both have now been added to my portfolio.

I’m very happy with what this month’s work resulted in. Now I’m quite curious to see what the future holds… Next update, I hope, will include a fox illustration and perhaps a pencil drawing of a cute little hamster, among some other work.

Cheers, and I’ll see you in the next post!

“Till Medmänniskan”

Eva Bernodt recently released her beautiful poetry book called Till medmänniskan (To the Fellow Human Being). She’d seen my penguin painting in gouache and watercolour and wanted to feature it in the book, which of course made me very happy. The book is full of beautiful poems and wise thoughts. Thank you, Eva, for letting my little penguins peek up amongst the pages!

I’ll see you in the next post. Cheers!
